A Toronto retail icon since 1994, Friendly Stranger has forever been a champion of cannabis, devoted to activism, community and culture. After cannabis legalization and recently announced plans to expand across Canada beyond their flagship store, the Friendly Stranger brand—most recognized through the iconic storefront signage—required a contemporary brand identity system that would help guide it through its new chapter of business evolution.
